PewDePie

PewDiePie, born Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, is a Swedish YouTuber who rose to fame for his comedy and Let's Play videos.

His channel was the most subscribed on YouTube from 29 December 2013 to 14 February 2017, after which Indian record label T-Series began surpassing him.

As of April 2019, PewDiePie has 97 million subscribers, making him the second most-subscribed user on YouTube, only behind T-Series.

Kjellberg was born in Gothenburg, Sweden on 24 October 1989. He grew up in Bromma and Trollhättan and graduated from Goteborgs Hogre Samskola in 2008.

In 2010, he moved to Gothenburg to pursue a degree in industrial economics and technology management at Chalmers University of Technology.

In early 2013, Kjellberg's channel reached 3 million subscribers. At this point, he was making enough money from YouTube advertisements to quit his job at a hot dog stand.

By the end of 2013, his channel had amassed 14 million subscribers and 2.4 billion video views. In 2014, Time named him one of "The World's 100 Most Influential People". Forbes also listed him as the world's highest-paid YouTube star, with an annual income of $12 million.
